What is the advantage of Integrative Medicine?
Integrative medicine’s main advantage is that it treats the whole person rather than a single lab value or organ system — pairing conventional diagnostics and pharmacology with nutrition, movement, stress physiology, gut health, and environmental factors to address root causes, not just symptoms
What is the difference between the Gold and Platinum Plan?
Dr. Yu and Dr Mondala offers the Gold Plan and platinum plan for those interested in being treated at Dr. Lifestyle.
The Gold Plan includes up to 1 visit per month if needed while the Platinum plan is visits as needed as determined by doctor and patient. Patients can send patient portal messages on the Gold Plan with a response within 5 days.
The Platinum plan allows greater and quicker access to the doctors. Patients can send questions through the phone app Spruce Health where patients can reach Dr Mondala and Dr Yu directly.
How do I sign up for your Integrative Medicine services?
You can sign up by clicking here. In order to provide excellent service to patients, Dr. Melissa Mondala and Dr. Yu will be capping her patient panels at about one fourth the size of physicians in a traditional practice.

You can sign up by clicking here. When you get to the portal, choose Dr. Micah Yu or Dr Melissa Mondala as your physician, and select your appointment time.
Dr. Yu is currently licensed in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Ohio, Texas, Georgia, Utah, Washington.

Why should you be a patient at Dr. Lifestyle
At Dr. Lifestyle, we combine both integrative and functional medicine with conventional medicine.
Dr. Mondala is able to use integrative medicine to help her patients restore their health. Dr. Mondala’s expertise is very rare as she is not only board certified in family and lifestyle medicine but has also undergone a 2 year fellowship in integrative medicine and training in integrative psychiatry.
Dr. Yu is a rheumatologist that combines the fields of rheumatology, lifestyle medicine, functional, and integrative medicine. His unique model of care and expertise is very rare. Very few physicians, if any, have undergone extensive training in these combined fields.
Does Dr. Lifestyle take insurance?
At Dr. Lifestyle, the physician are out of network with all insurances. We does not take Medicare at Dr. Lifestyle. We do not accept any medicaid insurance or caloptima. We also does not accept medicare advantage. All labs, imaging, and medications ordered can go through your insurance. Contact your insurance to find out the rules regarding seeing an out of network physician.

Do the physicians at Dr. Lifestyle prescribe conventional medications?
The physicians at Dr. Lifestyle can prescribe conventional medications and understand how to combine them with integrative medicine. They will go over your symptoms and diagnoses with you to come up with a treatment plan that fits your goal.
Can the physicians be my primary care doctor?
Dr. Mondala can be your primary integrative doctor. Dr. Yu is a rheumatologist and can be a primary rheumatologist.
